IoT & Equipment Monitoring
Don't just monitor the problem. Start fixing it automatically.
When equipment reports a problem, the repair process can start on its own: the right person, a task, an escalation, a recorded result.
- SensorCold room 3: 9.4 °C (limit 5 °C)
- STAQAlert to facility technician on duty
- STAQTask created: check compressor, 30 min SLA
- STAQNo action yet. Escalated to supervisor
- EngineerDoor seal replaced, photo attached
- SensorCold room 3: back to 4.1 °C
- STAQCorrective action recorded. Task closed
Same signal. Different outcome.
Temperature goes outside the allowed range.
Traditional monitoring
- Red alert on a dashboard
- Someone may notice it, or not
- Phone calls to find who is on duty
- Nobody records what was done
STAQ approach
- Alert to the responsible person
- Task with an SLA, created automatically
- Escalation if nothing happens
- Corrective action and result recorded
The chain
Signal to solved, without the phone calls.
- 01
Signal
A reading crosses a limit.
- 02
Responsible person
Notified on their phone.
- 03
Task
With SLA and instructions.
- 04
Escalation
If nobody reacts in time.
- 05
Corrective action
Done and proven with photos.
- 06
Recorded result
History for audits and analysis.
Typical signals
What equipment can tell STAQ.
Temperature
Cold rooms, chillers, server rooms.
Pressure
Pumps, pipes, compressors.
Humidity
Storage, data centres, archives.
Status and alarms
Elevators, machines, BMS alarms.
In short
With STAQ, Digitalz turns IoT and equipment signals such as temperature, pressure, humidity and alarms into automatic workflows: alerts, tasks with SLA, escalation and recorded corrective actions.

Questions we hear every week
What sensor data can STAQ receive?
Typical examples are temperature, pressure, humidity, equipment status and alarms, plus other operational parameters your devices or monitoring system can send. The exact connection depends on your hardware and gateway.
How is this different from a monitoring dashboard?
A dashboard shows a red alert and waits for someone to notice. STAQ starts a process: it notifies the responsible person, creates a task with an SLA, escalates if nothing happens and records the corrective action.
Do we need new sensors?
Not always. Many sites already have sensors, BMS or monitoring systems. We check what you have first and connect it where possible.
